What is the Cloud & Cybersecurity Voucher

It is a measure of the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) that supports small and medium-sized enterprises and self-employed professionals in buying cloud computing and cybersecurity solutions. The grant is non-repayable and covers 50% of eligible costs.

Who can apply

  • Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and self-employed professionals based in Italy.
  • With an Internet connection of at least 30 Mbps, a requirement of the measure.
  • Within the de minimis limits on aid received over the last three years.

How much it is worth

The voucher covers 50% of the spend, with a minimum spend of €4,000 and a maximum grant of €20,000. To obtain the maximum grant you therefore need a spending plan of at least €40,000.

What can be funded

Cybersecurity hardware and software, cloud services and related professional services, purchased from suppliers on the list published by the Ministry. Typical examples: firewalls, endpoint protection, monitoring systems, cloud backup and cloud services for business continuity. The list of eligible suppliers can be consulted on the Invitalia platform: the supplier must be chosen there.

Dates to note

  • 20 October 2026, 12:00: application pre-filling opens.
  • 10 November 2026, 12:00: submissions open, assessed in chronological order until funds run out.
  • 20 January 2027, 12:00: the window closes, unless funds run out earlier.

With a first-come, first-served procedure, being ready on day one matters: that is exactly what pre-filling is for.

How to prepare in 5 steps

  1. Check the requirements: company size, connectivity of at least 30 Mbps and de minimis headroom.
  2. Define your needs: what your company's security and cloud really lack, starting from an assessment.
  3. Choose a listed supplier and get a spending plan with items matching the eligible ones.
  4. Prepare credentials: digital identity of the legal representative and company documents.
  5. Pre-fill from 20 October and submit the application on 10 November at opening.

How ALAconnect can help

ALAconnect helps you understand what is worth buying, with a security assessment and a technical plan consistent with eligible costs, and checks technical requirements such as connectivity. For purchases funded by the voucher, the supplier must be on the Ministry's list: we help you structure the project accordingly. For work not covered by the voucher, also consider hyper-depreciation and regional grants: you will find everything on Grants and funding, or contact us.

This information is indicative: requirements and deadlines must always be checked against the decree and the official MIMIT website before applying.
