1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your device, where they are stored to be sent back to the same websites on your next visit. Similar tools (such as the browser's localStorage) can perform similar functions. In this policy the term "cookies" includes all these tools.
2. Categories of cookies used
The site distinguishes cookies into three categories. Necessary technical cookies are always active because they are essential to operation; the other categories are activated only with your consent.
Necessary (always active). They serve the operation of the site, security and remembering your cookie choices. This category includes the alaconnect_consent cookie, which stores the preferences expressed via the banner. It is a first-party technical cookie, with a duration of 180 days, and does not require consent under the applicable legislation. Also necessary are any session cookies or tokens generated by the server for the security of the contact form (anti-spam protection) during form submission.
Statistics (optional). They would allow aggregated information to be collected on how the site is used in order to improve its content. No statistics or analytics tool is currently active. The category is set up for possible future activation, which will take place only with prior consent.
Marketing (optional). They would allow personalised content or advertisements to be offered and their effectiveness to be measured, including through third parties. No marketing or profiling tool is currently active. The category is set up for possible future activation, which will take place only with prior consent.
3. How to manage consent
On your first visit a banner appears that allows you to accept all cookies, reject them (keeping only the necessary ones) or customise your choices by selecting the optional categories individually. Until you make a choice, no non-necessary cookie is activated.
Your decision is saved in the alaconnect_consent cookie so that the banner is not shown again on every page. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of the page: by reopening the panel you can update the categories or reject what you previously accepted.
4. Management via the browser
In addition to the banner, all browsers allow you to view, limit, block or delete cookies already stored. The methods vary depending on the program used and are available in its privacy and security settings. Deleting the alaconnect_consent cookie will cause the banner to reappear on your next visit.
5. References and updates
The classification adopted distinguishes technical tools from those used for further purposes, in line with the guidance of the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Italian Data Protection Authority). Should new tools be introduced (statistics, marketing, maps, videos or other third-party content), this policy and the cookie inventory will be updated and consent will be collected before activation.
Cookie Guidelines of the Garante Privacy (Italian Data Protection Authority)For the processing of personal data collected through the contact form, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
