ALAconnect is a managed service provider with its registered office in Domodossola and operational office in Verbania (VB), Italy, with over 25 years of experience: it manages networks, servers, cybersecurity, cloud and IT support for companies and professional firms. We accept unsolicited applications all year round from technicians, system administrators, network and security specialists and developers, and consider them for current and future roles.

Privacy notice for job candidates
Notice pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Article 111-bis of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, for anyone sending an unsolicited application to ALAconnect.
1. Data controller
The data controller is ALAconnect, registered office at Via Giuseppe di Vittorio 6, 28845 Domodossola (VB), Italy, VAT number 02605350038. For applications and to exercise your rights you can write to hr@alaconnect.it or info@alaconnect.it.
2. Data processed
We process the data contained in your CV and in your message: personal and contact details, education, work experience, skills and certifications, and any information gathered during interviews.
Please do not include data that is not needed for recruitment, in particular data on health, ethnic origin, religious or political beliefs. If your CV contains such data, we process it only where essential, for example membership of protected categories under Italian Law 68/1999 (Art. 9(2)(b) GDPR).
3. Purposes and legal basis
Data is processed only to assess your profile, contact you and manage recruitment for current or future positions. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Under Article 111-bis of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, consent is not required for unsolicited applications.
4. Provision of data
Sending an application is free and voluntary. Without the data needed for the assessment, however, the application cannot be considered.
5. Processing methods and recipients
Data is processed electronically by authorised ALAconnect staff involved in recruitment, with security measures appropriate to protect it from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. IT service providers, such as email and storage services, appointed as processors under Art. 28 GDPR, may also access it. Data is not disclosed or sold to third parties.
6. Transfers outside the EEA
Some technical providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases transfers take place with the safeguards provided by Articles 44-49 GDPR, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Retention period
Your CV and application data are kept for up to 24 months from receipt, so that you can be considered for later selections, and then deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time. If you are hired, the data becomes part of your personnel file and is covered by the related notice.
8. Your rights
You can exercise the rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR at any time: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, by writing to hr@alaconnect.it or info@alaconnect.it. If you believe the processing breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Does ALAconnect have open positions?
ALAconnect considers unsolicited applications all year round for technical roles in IT, networks, cybersecurity and software development. When a specific search opens, applications already received that match the profile are considered first. To apply, just write to hr@alaconnect.it.
Can I apply without experience?
Yes. We also consider graduates in computer science, electronics or telecommunications interested in an internship or a first job in ICT. In your email, describe your skills, personal projects and certifications, even if you have no work experience yet.
Do I need to include a data processing authorisation in my CV?
No. Consent is not required for unsolicited applications: processing is based on your request to be assessed, as provided by Article 111-bis of the Italian Privacy Code. Details on how we process your data are in the candidate privacy notice on this page.
How long do you keep my CV?
Up to 24 months from receipt, so that you can be considered for later selections. You can request earlier deletion at any time by writing to hr@alaconnect.it.
Where is the job based?
ALAconnect has its registered office in Domodossola and its operational office in Verbania, in the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola province of Piedmont, Italy. Work takes place at our offices, at client companies and remotely on their systems, depending on the role and activities.
